7.6 and 8.1 liter engines |
This chip will fit any of the Bosch and Nippondenso electronic controlled pumps. (EDC with
harnesses coming off the back of the injection pump) This is an adjustable chip that toggles from 10% of the John Deere rated horsepower to stock settings to max of 30% of John Deere rated horsepower. Percentage is based on factory rating plus 10% or 30%. The same is true for the increase in rear wheel torque. Torque will increase 10% or 30% of the factory stated rear wheel torque! No measureable heat increase has been seen with this chip. Because of the way the chip works, fuel usage remains stable and does not use more fuel. Most owners are seeing a fuel savings in operating with the power chip! The chip works by changing the pulse timing for faster torque rise, fuel delivery, turbo boost, and timing is all fine tuned by the program to work with the tractors main computer. All your OEM safety programs will still work with the chip, engine service light, etc. There are NO chips available for the 10.1 liter engines. Some chips now available for the 12.5 liter engines. |
